The Red Form is the “collector’s choice” for those who want the ease of a Rose Hair but with a more striking visual presence. These spiders are incredibly hardy and forgiving of minor husbandry shifts, making them a top-tier recommendation for first-time keepers. Known for their slow, deliberate movements, they are as manageable as they are beautiful.
Silk Road Note: Like all Chilean species, the Red Rose Hair may go on extended “hunger strikes” lasting months at a time. This is normal behavior for a low-metabolism desert species—as long as the abdomen is plump and fresh water is available, your spider is thriving.
🏡 Care Requirements
