At Silk Road Exotics, we deal exclusively with living biological specimens. Due to the extreme stress of transit and the strict quarantine protocols required to maintain a healthy collection, we do not accept returns on any live animals.
01. Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG)
While sales are final, your investment is protected by our Live Arrival Guarantee. In the event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), we provide a replacement or store credit, provided all shipping protocols were followed and reported within our 6-hour window.
02. Order Cancellations
Cancellations requested before the animal has been packed for shipment are eligible for a refund, minus a 15% restocking/processing fee. Once an animal has been boxed or a shipping label has been generated, the order can no longer be cancelled.
03. Dry Goods & Supplies
Non-living items (enclosures, tools, decor) may be returned within 14 days of receipt if they are unopened and in original packaging. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee.
04. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are non-refundable once a shipment has been dispatched. Silk Road Exotics is not responsible for shipping delays caused by the carrier (FedEx), though we will assist in filing any necessary claims.
