Skeleton Leg Tarantula (Ephebopus murinus) – juvenile to adult

The Skeleton Leg Tarantula features striking yellow and black leg patterns that resemble bones. This South American species is a beautiful fossorial tarantula known for its unique coloration and heavy webbing behavior, creating impressive tunnel systems.

These tarantulas are notorious for their “pet hole” behavior – spending most of their time underground in elaborate burrow systems. They’re fast and prone to flicking urticating hairs. When you do see them, their distinctive skeleton-like leg markings are truly eye-catching.
